The Criminal Justice & Public Safety training program at ATA College in El Cajon is designed to prepare graduates for entry into state, local, or federal law enforcement, corrections, or private security.
After completing the diploma training program, students have the option to continue in the Associate of Science in Criminal Justice program. The associate degree can be completed in an additional 6 months and contains general education courses, along with advanced courses in a selected emphasis pathway.
ATA College works to provide career training programs for entry-level positions in specialized fields like criminal justice. ATA is also an accredited member of the Council on Occupational Education. ATA will not offer programs or will suspend programs that are not producing employment outcomes. ATA staff is always committed to education beyond our program doors.
